MEETING INFORMATION VENUE The meeting will be held in Robinson College, which is the newest college in the University of Cambridge. It was founded with a donation by the entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir David Robinson and formally opened in 1981. The whole site centres around a large tranquil garden and lake. The College is situated approximately 10 minutes by taxi from the main railway station and the bus station (terminus for the airport coaches). TRAVELLING TO CAMBRIDGE Cambridge is situated in the heart of the East of England, 60 miles north of London. Excellent road and rail links ensure the city is accessible from all parts of the UK (London is just over an hour away by train, www.nationalrail.co.uk). London Stansted Airport (served by EasyJet and Ryanair) is 30 miles south of the city, with easy access by train, car or coach (National Express Coaches, which also serves Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, www.nationalexpress.com). ACCOMMODATION AND DINNER Accommodation is available for delegates on site in Robinson College (student accommodation, ensuite with shower facilities) for Sunday 22nd March 2009 (if required) and Monday 23rd March 2009). The Conference Reception and Dinner will be held in the Dining Hall at Robinson College on Monday 23rd March 2009.The cost is included in the Residential Registration Fee ONLY. Residential delegates do, however, still need to book their place at the dinner by ticking the box on the Registration Form. Non-residential delegates can purchase tickets for the Reception and Dinner at a cost of £53.00 (including VAT) per ticket. Please click here for full details on how to register. CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT This meeting has been accredited with 11 category 1 CPD credits by the Royal College of Radiologists. Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all attendees at the end of the meeting. |
